Pine Pollen: Preparing for the 2017 Harvest!
The temperatures have been climbing steadily and that means it is time for the golden pine pollen. At the Canadian Pine Pollen Company, we are excited about our 2017 harvest season. These strobili (male cones) of this Yellow pine (Pinus ponderosa) have been basking in the sun collecting its heat and energy. They are getting ready to pollinate. Once they open up, the Okanagan valley will get a good share of their golden powder and all its plant phytochemicals, growth factors, and nutrients. Our team and crew of pine pollen harvesters are hard at work bringing you the pine pollen in its most fresh and natural form while remaining true to our vision of sustainability and fairtrade. Â
